Looking to stay active for a few hours in the evening? At Wonders of Work, you’ll enjoy a welcoming atmosphere while easily reaching your step goals. As a Backoffice Host, you make sure every space is ready for the next day. With furniture in place, everything clean, and the rooms set up just right.

What does an evening as a Backoffice Host look like? Something like this:

You enjoy being hands-on and getting things done. From rearranging rooms and restocking fridges to supporting the kitchen and preparing drinks, you help make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

  • You start your shift by checking in with your colleagues and reviewing the evening schedule together.
  • You prepare meeting and event spaces according to the plans and guest expectations, making sure everything is ready on time and feels welcoming.
  • You work closely with the kitchen team to ensure catering is prepared and delivered as planned.
  • You welcome guests and show them to their room, helping them feel at ease from the moment they arrive.
  • You keep an overview of the planning and make sure spaces are ready for the next guests.
  • You collaborate with the reception and kitchen teams to create a seamless experience.
  • When something unexpected comes up, you step in, think practically, and find the right solution.

What you bring

  • Experience in hospitality, events, facilities, or another guest-focused role is a plus.
  • You’re organised, proactive, and enjoy physical, practical work.
  • You’re approachable and enjoy helping others.
  • You like working as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • You have an eye for detail and care about presenting spaces at their best.

What we offer

  • A part-time role of 14–32 hours per week, mainly in the evenings and sometimes on weekends.
  • A six-month contract after a one-month trial period.
  • Flexibility and consideration for your availability whenever possible.
  • Access to our wider network, which can also support your interests and ambitions beyond Wonders of Work.
  • A monthly salary of €2,550 based on full-time employment (40 hours).
  • An additional €175 per month (full-time basis) to contribute toward your pension
