Xavier Damman is a Belgian entrepreneur and product builder who turns bold ideas into tools people actually use. He first made waves as the co-founder of Storify, a platform that helped millions weave scattered social media posts into compelling stories. The company was later acquired by Livefyre in 2013.
He went on to found Open Collective, bringing radical transparency to funding for open source projects and online communities around the world and reshaping how collective work gets supported.
He is also the founder of The Commons Hub Brussels, a space inspired by the work of Elinor Ostrom, where people gather to rediscover the commons and rethink how we care for what we share.
His work lives at the intersection of technology, community, and collective ownership, always exploring better ways to build together.
