Seats2Meet Utrecht CS is offering me the opportunity to organise a free afternoon of system set-ups for six enthusiastic participants on Friday 24 January from 2 to 4 pm. Three participants can bring in a question.
Briefly about me
As some of you know, I have a background in Occupational and Organisational Psychology, coaching and have been working as a Sr HR Business Partner for about 25 years. I have always been fascinated by the dynamics between people and (family and work) systems. My passion for personal development and understanding deeper patterns led me to Systemic Work at Phoenix Training.
What is Systemic Work?
Systemic Work is a powerful method that provides insight into the unconscious dynamics at play within systems, such as a family and an organisation. It assumes that we are all part of a greater whole and that events in the past, often generations back, can still influence our present lives and so too in work settings. Through symbolic representations by other participants or objects, we visualise interrelationships, offering insights for change processes. This makes invisible patterns visible and offers opportunities for change and healing. It is based on the idea that we are all connected to the system we were born into: our family.
What does the meeting look like?
During the meeting with up to 6 participants, 3 participants can bring in their research question, related to the family system or family of origin. Think for instance of recurring patterns in relationships, difficulties in communication or experiencing certain blockages. In a safe and respectful setting, we work together to gain insight into the underlying dynamics.
