Just Courage
When is someone really brave? What does courage mean to you and what does it actually provide? Can you develop courage or is it just in your genes?
Courage comes in many forms. It gets you moving, for yourself or for someone else. In this podcast, I take you on a personal quest for what courage really is. Emmelie Zipson talks to a special mix of guests-famous and unknown-and together they explore the many faces of courage: from big, heroic deeds to those small, everyday moments of perseverance.
Alex Sijm
Alex Sijm is an entrepreneur, speaker and former circus director. Despite the rare disease hereditary spastic paraparesis (HSP), which causes him to gradually lose the strength in his legs, Alex built a successful circus business with 150,000 visitors every year. After 20 years, he decided to take a new path and now inspires others with his story. Alex shows how to overcome obstacles, make dreams come true and live and work from your feelings. His message: it is precisely our unique differences that make us powerful.
