De Seksualiteitschool is opgericht door Belle Barbé. Zij studeerde Algemene Sociale Wetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam (minor in opvoedingsondersteuning) en Sexuality Studies aan de San Francisco State University. Belle Barbé is daarnaast oprichter van Bureau Belle Barbé, mede-oprichter van Wipsite en auteur van onder meer het eerste sekspositieve voorlichtingsboek ‘Ik & seks’, ‘100 antwoorden bij seksuele opvoeding’.
Gast 2: Marlies Slegers (10:30u)
Marlies Slegers (1965) is kinderboekenschrijfster van meer dan 60 titels. Ze heeft vanaf haar tiende in Indonesië gewoond en kwam op haar zeventiende terug naar Nederland. Naast grappige en avontuurlijke boeken, schrijft ze toegankelijke boeken over belangrijke thema’s zoals rouw, scheidingen en mishandeling. Haar carrière startte 21 jaar geleden met een kinderboek over diabetes, toen haar eigen zoontje op zevenjarige leeftijd diabetes kreeg. Ze schrijft een enkele keer voor volwassenen, zoals het boek Het is maar een scheiding, waarin ze haar eigen scheiding noteerde als ruggesteun voor andere vrouwen. Marlies woont met haar hond in een dorpje in Brabant en heeft drie volwassen kinderen. Ze organiseert schrijfcursussen, schrijfretraites naar Bali en is schrijfcoach.
