I'm Daan, and I've been working as a video producer for 17 years. Once I walked around with cameras, lights, microphones and big editing sets. But since the rise of AI, things have changed an awful lot - and that's just the beginning. Where you used to need a whole studio and crew, now you can make a video yourself with one good idea and a few clever tools.
You can see yourself back as a digital twin, record videos without being in front of the camera, or place yourself in an animation, on a tropical beach or in a completely imaginary world. Anything is possible. I myself recently made my first animation-just in a few hours, without expensive software or technical training. Super cool to do!
What drives me is the combination of technology and creativity with real people and stories. No complicated jargon or unnecessary fuss, but sharp questions, smart tools and genuine interest.
For Wonders of Work, among other things, I created the route videos on the website. This way, I help visitors find their way even before they step inside - visually, clearly and personally. For me, that is the power of good communication: using technology to make things more human, simple and understandable.
Whether it's video, tools or digital content: I always look for the form that makes a story clear and touches it.
